History

The house was originally painted blue, but was redone around the time of its 2016 sale to be beige/sepia.
There is a 1911 listing in the paper soliciting someone for hire for housework, but the home was simply described as a "lot" in 1913 when it was sold by Charles S. Taylor to William C. Marsh for $1,100, implying that Marsh was the one who build the home on the property.
1920 census: Massachusetts-origin dentist William with his wife and two children.

It's not clear when exactly the Marshes moved out, but Agnes died in 1944 of Lobar Pneumonia, and WIlliam died of Coronary Artery Disease a year later, although both lived in Philadelphia at the time of Agnes's death. The house does not seem to be present on the 1940 census, and the Marshes lived on 20 Llandaff Road at the time of it.
In 1946, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Alexander lived in the house, and in 1947, Bruce Owen was recorded as living here during his marriage to their daughter, Josephine. Bruce was still living in the house in 1948 when he was filing for divorce from his wife.

---|---|---|
Robert E. Alexander | 60 | Head |
Florence W. Alexander | 63 | Wife |
Josephine E. Alexander | 25 | Daughter |

In 1951, Robert died, and in 1959, his wife Florence dies as well. The house was probably sold by Josephine after her death. James Moore is recorded at the house in both 1967 and 1969. By 1976, the house was sold by Norman Cox to Howard and Barbara Cooper. The Coopers sold their house to Stephen & Jane Morris in 1992 for $185,000. The house was on sale in 2006 for $399,000. The house was sold in 2016 for $300,000 to developers, who renovated the home and sold it in 2017 for $585,000.
